WHEREAS, Pursuant to resolution� G. F. 232203�_ approved � ±
February 28, 1967, a public hearing was duly held on Thursday� � �
March 16, 1967, before the Council of the City of Saint Paul� �; ,�
said hearing ertaining to the eon�ition of the structure
loeated at 61� James Avenue� Saint Paul� Minnesota� and . �'

,. � WHEREAS, Upon the facts presented at the said hearing, ' ! '
consisting of photographs� inspection reports and the recommenda-� ,
tion of the City Architeet� it is found and determined by the ; �
City Council that according to the records and files in the : ;
office of the Register of Deeds, the last record owners of the � r
above-described property are Francis E. Yo�ng and Betty Ann ,. �
Young; that Northern Federal Savings and Loan Association is ��
the mortgagee� and purchaser at the mortgage foreclosure sale `
held on February 9 196'7; and that Bap� Incorporated� a ; �
Minnesota corporat�on, has some interest in the above property; �� ;
and t�at there are no other lien holders of record; that it is �; j
further determined that the above-described building constitutes� �
a hazardous building within the definition of Chapter 393� Laws ' "

RESOLVED, That in accordance with Chapter 393, Laws of 1965, � .
and based upon the foregoing findings of the City Coun.cil, th� �� ��
Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby make the following

1. The owners of the above-described building shall make � � ' �
the same safe and not detrimental to the public health� safety � � ,
and welfare by having the said building razed and the materials , ;
therefrom removed from the premises within thirty (30) days
from the date of the service of this Order, or� in the alterna� t i
tive, begin to correct the hazardous conditions and correet the " �
hazardous conditions by doing the followings ' �

a. Remove all paper and other eombnstible � � � ;
materials from the building and securely close � �,�E I
i and keep closed all doors, windows or otY�er � � ;
� openings in the building; ; ;
b. If the building is to be used for human � � � �

�, �must be corrected and the wiring, plumbing and
'� heating systems brought up to comply with the '; I
, Saint Paul Housing Code and the Saint Paul � ' �
f Building Code requirements, and that the owners � �
submit a list of intended corrections regarding
the structural condition of the building � - � '
eleetrieal and heatir�g system� together with a
schedule for the completion of the rehabilitation
program and that the owners apply for the necessary . , �.
permit in the office of the City grchitect within '' � '
the thirty (30) days imposed herein. �- � ;
