WHEREAS, With reference to the construction of sidewalks on
Lafond Street f'rom Hamline Avenue to Syndicate Street under Coun-
cil File No. 218447, approved June 3, 196�+, the report of the De-
partment of Public Works under Cantract 64-M-3�, District No. l,
I,evy No. 11, shows that all of the construction completed under
this contract is non-assessable due to the construction of inter-
� sections or due to the fact tha.t the reconstruction occurs within
the 15-year guaxanty period; and
WHEREAS, To complete the record on this contract the Depa.rt- ,
ment of Finance reco7mnends that the City Comptroller be authorized to
defray the cost of the construction and charge the total cost of such ,
construction as follaws: �
