WHEREAS , Herbert Davis , an employee of the Department of Public ;
Safety, Bureau of Police, was injured in a third parfy accident on
December 14,. 1965 , while engaged in the performance of his duties ; and;
WHEREAS, the City has incurred medical expense in the amount of
$93.90 therefor, and said empl.oyee was disabled for work for a period
of time, being paid wages in the amount of $54.56 ; and
� WHEREAS , a settlement has been negotiated between said employee
� and the other party involved in said accident out of which the City
� will reeeive the fu11 amount of its subrogation interest by reason
` of injury to its employee , less attorney�'s fees of $49.49 , o� a net
; settlement to the City of $98.97 , now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City Officers are hereby authorized
to accept the sum of $98.97 in fu11, final and complete settlement
, of the City's subrogation interest by reason of injury to its employee ;
! that of- said sum, $36.62 is thereby credited to the Police Salary Fund
i and $62. 35 to the Workmen's Compensation Fund.
