COMMISSIONE
WHEREAS : The Mayor and Coun�il of the City of St. Paul
� are concerned with obtaining the best possible services to those
citizens who are living in poverty; and
WHEREAS : The Mayor and Council are concerned that the
residents of the target areas have the greatest possible participation
in planning and administering the programs which are designed to
assist them; and
WHEREAS : The Mayor and Council realize that one of the
effective ways for target area residents to participate in these _
efforts is through� the twenty-five representatives allotted to them
on the Ramsey County Citizens Committee for Economic Op�o�tunity, Inc;
and -
BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The Mayor and Council strongly urge
residents of these target areas to cast a ballot to elect their
representatives to the Ramsey Count�y Citizens Committee •for Economic
Opportunity � Inc. at the elections to be held on Wednesday, May 24 , 1967 .
