. Dear Mr. Larkin:
The Bureau of Health in revising their second year of a five-year
project for an accelerated Tuberculosis Control Program in this
area has received additional grant funds to establish an x-ray
unit in the Union Gospel Mission of St. Paul, including funds to
operate this unit.
We are submitting to you a list of equipment necessary to complete
the x-ray unit submitted to us by the Profexray, Inc. It is our
uuclxakpd3n; that while this unit is somewhat used it is in
excellent condition and will suffice for our purpose.
Under the federal regulations, equipment purchased from federal
grant funds are in effect the property of the federal government
and at the termination of the project, this being a five-year
proect, would revert back to the federal government. However, ,
in most instances the community receiving grants may renegotiate
• for the equipment to ob.tain permanent ownership if deemedlnecessary_:;,,,:_.,,.:.„.-

granted to us for the purchase of this equipment. A copy lisfing
the equipment and the prices is included.
