r ' The Council of the (�ity of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
� upon th'e above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
� 1. That the said report and the sa.me is hereby appraved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. . � .
� 2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
, to condenm and take an easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts and fills,
including right of removal of lateral support from sub�ect land or remainder thereof,
� • occasioned by exca.vations thereof or construction of slopes in the grading and sur-
facing with bituminous ma,terial the alleys in Union Park Lots 109-131 inclusive; _

� , Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said impronement on the��t day of

said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place af
, hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
