WHEREAS the City of St. Paul has received an Open-Space Land
grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development of the
United States of America, to assist in the acquisition of the Rice-Arli.ngton
Recreation Site, and
WHEREAS�the State of Minnesota, through its Natural Resource Fund,
has made funds available to the City of St. Paul to assist in matching the
federal grant for the acquisition of the Rice-Arlington site; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that the Commis sioner of Parks and Recreation and
Public Buildings is hereby authorized to accept this grant from the State of
Minnesota in the amount of $92, 500, and to deposit same in CIB Receipt Fund
No. 9767-R {Priority No. O10),
