RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves �t-lhe award of the Purchasing Committee therefor
and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering F.O.B. City of Saint Paul Water
Department, McCarron's Water Treatment Plant, 1900 Rice Street, Soo Line Siding, St. Paul,
• Minnesota, for a period of one year beginning November 15, 1968, approximately 500 tons
LIQUID CHLORINE in tank car shipments of 30 to 55 tons each, to TH�S�N HAYWARD
CHEMICAL CON�ANY, at a price of $68.80 per net ton, making total amount of contract
approxisnately $34,400.00, in accordance with City specifications and the Formal Bid ��3239
of said Thompson Hayward Chemical Company, such bid being the lowest and said bidder
, ,
being a reasonable and reliable one and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is '
directed to draw up the proper form of.contract therefor and the proper City officials
hereby are authorized to execute said �ontract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
