. WHERSAS, In the matter of the contract with Tower Aaphalt, Inc., for a
bituminous overlay on�BIIRR STREET fro� Collins Street to Minnehaha Avenue,
, Project No. 68-F-.430, Conptroller's Contract No. L-7031, the contract comple-
tion date-�as August 1, 1968, and �
' WHEREAS, There was not sufficient tinae allowed-from� the date of the
coanter-signature of the Comptroller of July 12, 1968 to complate the work
by A�gust 1, 1968; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the proper Citq Officials be and they are hereby author-
ized and directed to execute an amendment ta said contract extending the time
- of completion to October 15, 1968; provided however, that this resolution
� shall have no force or effect unless the sureties on the Con�ractor's bond
consent thereto and file s�ch consent in writing with the City Comptroller,

. F[TRTHfiR RFsSOLVBD, That the City of Saint P�aul hereby waives all claim
�r for liquidated damages and that no engineering and inspection costs on thia
project wil.l be charged to the Contractor for such extended period.
