WHEREAS, In the matter of Comptroller!s Contzact L-7007 for constructing,
`repairing, or reconstructing sidewalks within SIDEWALR DISTRICT N0. 2,
Mario Frasson Cement Co., Contractor, the �pecified date of completioa is
_ November 15, 1968.

WHSREAS, The Contractor has prosecuted the work diligently but due to a
delay in the delivery of the proper materials it was not possible to complete
the co�ttract by said date of completion; therefore be it
_ i
RESOLVED, That the proper City Officials be aad they are herebq suthor-
ized and directed to execute an amendment to said contract extending the time
of completion to December lU, 1968, provided however, that this resolution
o shall have no force or effect unless the sureties on the Contractor's bond
e coasent thereto and file such consent in writing with the City Comptroller,

FURTAER RESOLVED, That the City of Saiat Paul hereby waives all claim
for liquidated damages and `that no engineering and inspection costs on this
_ project will be charged to�the Contractor for such extended period.
