W�AS, The Contractor has prosecuted tha work diligently but due to unfore-
seen dificulties encouatered it was not possible to complete the contract by said
dnte of completion, therefore be it,
RESOLVED, That the propar City Officials be and they are hereby auttiorfzed �
and directed to execute an ateendment to said contract extending the date of comple-
tion to Decenber 2, 1968, provided however, tha�t thic- resolution shall have no force
or effect unless the aureties on the Contractor's bond consent thereto and file such
consent in �ariting with the City Co�ptrnller, and be it,
FURTAER RESOLVBD, That the City of Saint Faul hereby waives ell clnia for
��i liquidated danages and that no engineeriag and inspection costs on this project '
