Bituminous Overlay on EDGCUI�E ROAD froa Fairview Avenue- to Jefferson Avenue,
Armor-Coat�Company, Inc., Contractor, the specified date of complation is
November 15, 1968, aAd
WHEREAS, The Cor�tractor has prosecuted the• work diligentlq but due to
an unuauel amonnt of inclement weather, it was not possible to complete the
contract by said date of compietion, therefore be it
�,J � RFSOLVED, That the prop�er City Officials be- and they are herebq suthor-
,r - i�ed and directed to exec�te an amendment to said contract extending the time
� of completion to June 30, 1969, provided however, that this resolutio� shall
have no force or effect unless _the sureties on the Contractor's bond consent
th�reto and f11e such consent in writing with the City Comptroller, and be it
FURTHBR RESOLVED, That the Citq of SaiRt Paul hareby waives all claim
for liquidated° damages and that no engineering and inspection costs on this
project will be� charged to the Contractor for such eatended period.
