the apecified date of completion is December 1, 1968, and
WHEREAS, The- Contractor has proseeuted the work diligently but du� to
an unusual amount of inclement weather�it was. aot possible to complete the
contract by said date of completio8, therefore be it
RSSOLVED, That the proper City Officials be and they are-hereby author-
ized and directed to execute an amendment to �aid contract extending the time
of completion to June 30, 1969, providnd however, that this resolution shall
� have no force or effect unle�s the sureti�s on th� Contractor's bond consent
� ' thereto and file st�ch conaer�t in writing with the City Comptroller, and be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of Saint pat�l hereby waines ell claim
for liqnidated damages and _that no engineering and inspection coets on this
project will be charged- ta the Contractor for such extended period.
