1 WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota would like to donate a Kustom Pro Laser III, estimated retail
2 value of $3,495.00, and a spare battery for the laser, estimated retail value of $100.00, to the City of
3 Saint Paul, Police Department; and

5 WfIEREAS, the public purpose of this donafion is to provide tools that measure the speed of traffic
6 which will enable police officers to enforce traffic laws, detect impaired drivers, and improve the
7 safety of streets for pedestrians and drivers; and

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Department would like to accept this donation from tLe
State of Minnesota; and
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Saint Paul accepts this generous donation and extends its
sincere thanks to the State of Minnesota.
