OUNCIL R O TION—GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY � COMMISSIONE DAT� WHEREAS, The Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul owns land abutting both sides of Fairfield Avenue, from Bidwell Street to Wabasha Street, and WHEREAS, The Gross-Given Manufacturing Company is in the process of acquiring properties from the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Saint Paul that abut�fs Fairfield Avenue between Bidwell and Walter Streets, and - WHEREAS, The Gross-6iven Manufacturing Company desires to add to their present facilities at 75 West Fairfield by building over vacated Fairfield Street between � , Bidwell and Walter Streets, and WHEREAS, said building will be located over an existing public sewer, and WHEREAS, said company will soon have ownership of property on both sides of Fairfield Avenue between Bidwell and Walter Streets, and WHEREAS, said company and the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of St. Paul , Minnesota, in letters to the St. Paul Sewer Engineer attached hereto, have requested that a public sewer in Fairfield Avenue (Vacated) from Bidwell to Wabasha be abandoned as a public sewer; therefore be it RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul , upon the recommendation of the Chief Engineer and the Commissioner of Public Works, does hereby declare the following public sewer abandoned for public use: �.Sewe.r�� in Fairfield Ave. (Vacated) from Bidwell St. to Wa6asha Sf.�� ' � � -� ` and be i t further,� � � RESOLVED, That as a condition for the abandonment of said sewer, all cut-off work shall be done by City Forces in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Chief Engineer and Commissioner of Public Works at an estimated _ total cost of $1 ,150.00, and that such cost to be paid for out of the P.
