WHE AS, e City of Saint Paul is the fee own.er by deed of
"� donation from the Ford Motor Company of that real estate situated
in the City of Saint Paul , County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota,
being described as follows:
That part of the South half (S. 1�2) of the Southeast
quarter (SE 1�4) of the Northeast quarter (NE 1�4 of,
Section seventeen (17) Township twenty-eight (283 ,
Range twenty-three (23� , described as follows:
Beginnin at a point in the East line of Section seven- •
teen (17� which point is 1280.54 feet South of the
intersection of the present South line of Ford Road,
with the said East line of Section seventeen (17) ;
thence West at right angles with the said East line of
Section seventeen (17) a distance of 671 .40 feet to a
point; thence South a.n.d parallel with the said East

feet to a point; thence East and para]lel with the
first course of the land herein described, 671 .40 feet

from' the City for the purpose of constructing and maintaining there-

described property is excess to the needs of the City and that the
public interest will best be served by the superior use for which
the 13ousing a.nd Redevelopment Authority is acquiring said property;

WHEREAS, the Housing a.n.d Redevelopment Authority has offered
to purchase said property for the amoun.t of �316,000.00, and such
price is fair a,nd reasonable based upon appraisals of said
property; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the City of Saint Paul convey to the Housing
and Redevelopment Authority the above-described property; and be

FUR,THER RESOLVED, That the proper City officials are hereby
authorized and directed to execute a Quit Claim Deed to the
Housing a.n.d Redevelopment Authority conveying in fee simple all
its right, title and interest in the above-described property;
a.n.d b e i t
FUR.THER RESOLVED, That the City Comptroller is authorized an.d
directed to accept the �316,000.00 a.n.d deposit said funds in Trust
. Accoun.t No . 5060 un.til such time as a final determinatiori may be
made for the ultimate disposition of said funds.
