PAUL COUNCIL NO. ������ � v' { OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK FILE , OUN � ESOLUTION—GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONE DATF t I WHEREAS, The ommittee on Lands, composed of the Mayor, the Purchasing Agent, the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings, and the Com- missioner of Finance of the� City of Saint Pau1, has secured an agreement for the purchase of that certain property described as follows; � I � The East twenty-two (22) feet and two (2) inches of Lot Thirteen , � (13) in Block One (1) of Edmund Rice's Second Addition to the � City of St. Pau1; WHEREAS, The property described therein is necessary for the Acker Recreation Center, and the price at which the property may be purchased is at the total amount of $7,000, a fair and reasonable price according to the appraisal obtained by the Committee on Lands; and , � ; WHEREAS, Said Committee has recommended the purchase of said property at the price stated above, as evidenced by the letter of said Committee submitted herewith; now, therefore, be it � ' RESOLVED, That pursuant to Section 303 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, the Council of the City of Saint Pau1 does hereby authorize the purchase of the lands described as: , • The East twenty-two (22),feet and two (2) inches of Lot Thirteen (13) in Block One (1) of Edmund Rice's Second Addition to the � � City of St. Pau1; � RESOLVED Further that the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pay to Hazel M. Kuhn, record fee owner, and Jerome Bailey, contract for deed vendee, the sum of $7,000.00, said sum to be paid to the aforesaid vendors, frbm Fund 9768-501-002, upon their furnishing evidence of good marketable title in the aforesaid vendors, and the total payment to be made upon tender by said parties of appropriate deeds conveying title to said property to the City of Saint Paul.
