Mr. Harry E. Marshall
rty Clerk
City Hall & Court House
Dear Sir:
This is written in response to the appeal of Robert C. Sayre
to relax the lot frontage requirements of the Legislative
Zoning Code. The property is located on the north side of
Burns Avenue between Clarence and Etna Streets and is described
as Lot 7, Block 36, Audi:tdr's Subdivision 62 except the est
40' of the south 156' and the east 50' of the south 156' of Lot 7.
The property is zoned "A" residence.
This matter was considered at the October 3, 1968 Board of
Zoning meeting. The property under consideration is an irregu-
larly shaped parcel with a depth of 336 feet; a width of 120 feet
at the rear and 70 feet at the street line and is developed with
two single-family residences on the rear 180 feet of the site.
It is proposed to construct a single-family residence on the wes-
terly 40 feet of the street frontage which would leave only 30 feet
of street frontage for the two single-family residencesexisting.
The requirement for two-single-family residences is 80 feet.

It was the feeling of the Board of Zoning that the requested
variance is too great (62%) , therefore, the Board of Zoning
recommends denial of the appeal to relax the lot frontage require-
ment. '
 Very truly yours,
 , `.

Auditors Subdivision #62.

foot requirement regarding other homes located to the North of
the lot in question waived and to allow a 30 foot roadway as
indicated on the proposed attached diagrams to fulfill this obligation.
