RESOLVED, That the Council herebq coacurs in the recommendation of the Coatract
Committee and rejects the only bid received for furnishing all labor, material and
equipment required for the Construction of B-624 CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER, along with
gravel, base, backfill, constructing catch basins and leads and all other work showa,
described or implied on C�iBERLAND STRSET f(Cook Avenue to Maryland Avenue) -
for the reseon that the oae bid received was in excess of the Engineer's Estimate
primarily because of the lateness of the season and several intangibles in the
' specifications, and it is recommended that this project be readvertised early in
the spring of` 1969, with clarification of specifications.
