WHEREAS , Gordon Anderson, an employee of the Department of
Public Safety, Bureau of Police, was injured in a third party
accident on September 28, 1966 � while engaged in the performance
of his duties ; and
WHEREAS , the City has incurred medical expense in the amount
of $37.OU therefor, and said employee was disabled from work for
a period of time being Paid full salary for which the City may
claim credit at the rate of $45.00 per week, and Squad Car 316 '
was damaged in the amount of $26 .44; and
WHEREAS , a settlement has been negotiated between said
employee and the other party involved in said accident, which
provides for a net settlement to the City in the amount of
$154.63 after deductions for proportionate attorney's tees and �
c�sts; now, therefore , be it
}
RESOLVED, that the proper City Officers are hereby authorized �
to accept the sum of $154.63 in full, final and complete settle- �
ment of its claim herein and to execute any necessary releases �
therefor; that of said sum $99 .99 is thereby credited to the y
- Police Salary Fund, $28. 20 -to the Workmen' s Compensation Fund, �
and $26 .44 in payment of the registered bill for damage to '
