WHEREAS, Twin City Li s, Inc. , by letter of October 16,
1968, addressed to Commissio er Robert Sprafka, Commissioner
of Public Utilities , over the signature of John L. Dahill.,
Vice President of Operations, has indicated that the Company
is in accord with the request of Commissioner Sprafka whereby
Route #5, Como–Stryker, would con.tinue to be permanently '
operated over the detour route which was used because of
sewer construction on Winifred Street, so that Route #5,
as changed, will no longer operate on Winifred Street between
Wabasha Street and Stryker Avenue, but instead will operate
from Wabasha Street on Fiumboldt Avenue to George Street, on
George Street to Stryker Avenue , and thence on the regular
route ; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED� By the Council of the City of Saint Paul, that
said Council hereby approves the aforesaid change in said �mute
#5 and request the Twin. City Lines , Inc. to initiate the app-r-o=
priate request to the Public Service Commission for the
Commission�s Order to make such change permanent.
