WAERBAS, Ia the mntter of Comptroller's Contract L-7059 for Grading, Snrfac-
ing, Constructing Concrete Curb and Gutter, and Construction of a Storm Sewer and
Sanitary Sewer in GLENRIDGE AVSMIS from �linthrop Street to McKnight Road, F.
Morettini Construction Company, Contractor, the apecified date of completion is
November 15, 1968, and �� _
WHEREAS, The Contractor has prosecuted the w�ork diligently but due to an
unusual amount of inclement weather it is not possible to complete the contract
. _ ,
by said date of completion; therefore be it�
RESOLVFD, That the proper City Officials be and tbey are hereby authorized
and directed'7to execute an amendment to said contract extending the time of
completion to June 30, 1969, provided however, that the Contractor maintain suit-
able access to all building construction sites at all times and that this
resolution shall have no fo�ce or effect unless the sureties on the Contractor's
. bond consent therato and file such consent in writing with the City Comptroller,
and be it,

< • FURTAER RESOLVED, That the City of Saint Pau`l�hereby weives all claim for
liqu�idated damages and that no engineering and inapection costs on this project
will be charged to the Contractor for such extended period.
