Lacl�.er, Deputy Superintendent of Schools, amendment of the agreements between the City of Saint Paul and the Minnesota Iiospital Service Association, Group Health Plan, Inc. , and St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company, are hereby authorized so as to permit members of the School Board� s teaching staff retiring on and after May 1, 1965, to be covered under the City' s retirees ' group health and welfare insurance coverage, for said retired school staff inembers' and dependentst coverage � as provided u.nder the aforementioned City Agreements; be it FURTHER RESOLVED, That payments for eligible employees of Independent School District No. 625 who retire on or after reaching age 65 shall be made, on behalf of such employees or . such employees and dependents, by Independent School District No. 625; .payments for retired employees of said School District who qualify for early retirement coverage under the City� s pro– gram shall be made by such eligible school staff employees for � themse.l.y_e,s,_or �for_ themsel.�es and their dependents out of their �� own funds; that under the provisions of existing agreements, such .,� retired school board employees shall be eligible for school board � 0 paid coverage provided the pertinent provisions of existing agree-- �, ments are in effect at the time such individuals reach age 65; be it FUR.THER RESOLVED, That modifications of existing agreements � shall be drafted so as to make such aforementioned coverages � 0 effective as of January 1, 196g; be it � m ;� � FURTHER RESOLVED, That upon concurrence, by resolution of a the School Board of Independent School District No. 625, with `-�� � the terms, conditions and provisions of this Resolution, the proper City officers of said City and officers of said School Board are hereby authorized and directed to execute riders to the City' s retirees group contract to effectuate the intent of this Resolution; be it COUNCILMEN Adopted by the Council 19— Yeas �' Nays Carlson Dalglish Approved 19—_ Meredith �Tn Favor Ee�e�se$- Sprafka � Mayor T.e�esco� A gainst � Mr. President, Byrne " , �; �O ��t � � 24 0 F21 , � ORIG�AL TO CI�T?CLERK •f � ' r`/,.,�-� CITY OF ST.
