RESOLVED, That the Greater Saint Paul United Fund & Coun.cil, Inc. ,
400 Wilder Building, Saint Pa,ul, Minnesota, -is hereby given permission
� to erect, during , the week of October l, 1g68, and maintain, for a
period ending the week of October 27, 1968, thermometers at the
Capitol Approach in front of the Capitol Building at the north end -
of the center island on Cedar Street, and at the intersection of
Summit and Snelling on the center island east of the said inter-
section, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Public Works
and the Commissioner� of Parks 'and Recreation and Public Buildings.;;
be it �
FiTRTHER RESOLVED, �That the said Greater Saint Paul United Fun.d
& Council, Inc. is hereby given permission to hang 40-foot street
banners on Seventh Street east of the Cedar Street intersection and
on Fifth Street east of the St. Peter Street intersection and to
maintain said banners for a period ending October 24, 1968, subject
to the approval of the Commissioner of Public Works and the City
Architect; be it ,
FUR.THER RESOLVED, That the permission and authority contained �
in this resolution is egpressly conditioned upon the following terms:
' � l. The permittee shall pay the cost of publication �
of this resolution; �
2. The permittee shall file with the City Clerk
certificate of public la�ability insurance covering
itself and the City of Saint Paul as an additional
insured, in a.maun.ts satisfa'etory t� the Corporation
Counsel; ,
3. The permittee shall hold harmless and defend ' .
the City of Saint Paul, its employees and agents,
against all liability arising out of any claims,
, actions, or causes of action which may arise out of,
or claim to have arisen out of, the permission granted '
herein;
