WHEREAS, Ruth Odden, 900 Palace Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota,
did suffer certain injuries from a fa11 she had on a city sidewalk
at 502 Jefferson Avenue, Saint Paul, on June 17, 1968, and filed a
claim �against the City therefor; and
WHEREAS, her claim was settled for a total amount of $100.00,
which was thereafter paid to said claimant by the City of Saint Paul,
" upon the understanding that $40.45 was to be contributed to said settlement
by the Farmers Insurance Group, the insurer of the property owner at
502 Jefferson Avenue, Saint Paul; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City officers are authorized and
directed to accept the draft of the Farmers Insurance Group for $40.45
as contribution to the settlement of the claim of Ruth Odden, and said
amount shall be deposited in the Tort Liability Fund 0035-421.
