WAEREASy The City of St. Paul has entered into a Code Enforcement
Contract with the United States of America (C.F. 239594) . This contract
is for the purpose of revitalizing and upgrading that area of St. Paul known
as Census Tracts 9 and 10. Included in the contract is the provision that
certain public improvements. (sewers, curbs, streets, lighting) be upgraded.

WHEREAS, The financing of these improvements shall be in part by
Federal funds and in part by City funds. `
RESOLVED, That a Special Revenue Fund be established to be known as
"Census Tracts 9 and 10 - Public Improvements". All monies from the United

States government for public improvements under this contract, all matching
city monies, and other receipts for this purpose shall be deposited in this
fund. All expenditures for public improvement under this contract shall be
made from this fund either directly or thru the Permanent Improvement Revolv-
ing Fund.
RESOLVED, That the City Comptroller shall assign the account number
