. WHEREAS, The City Coun.cil found and determined that that �
structure .located at 705 Selby Avenue in the City of Saint Paul i
constituted a hazardous structure as defined by Minnesota Statutes '
Sec�tion 463. 15; and pursuant to resolution, C. F. No. 234437,
approved July 2'7, 1967, the owner was ordered to repair or wreck
and remove the said hazardous structure; and

WHEREAS, The Council� s Order pertaining to the repair �
or wrecking and removal of the said hazardous structure has not
been complied with, and the Ramsey County District Court, pursuant
to its Order dated March 29, 1968, directed that the own.er shall
repair or wreck and remove the hazardous building on or before July
8, 1968; and in the event that the own.er does n.ot comply with the
said District Court Order on or before July 8, 1968, that the City
of Saint Paul is authorized to enter upon the premises and take all
necessary steps to wreck and remove the hazardous building located �
at 705 Selby Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, The owner of the said property has not repaired
or wrecked and removed the said hazardous building prior to July 8, {
1968, and it is the_ intent of the City Coun.cil to proceed with the '
enforcement of the said Order of the District Court dated March 2g, �
�968; now, therefore, be it �, i
; � RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does �
hereby declare that failure to wreck and remove the said hazardous
structure located at 705 Selby Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota, without
delay, will work an injury to the City; be it �
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent is hereby
authorized and directed to purchase the necessary wrecking services �
to wreck and remove the said hazardous structure located at 705
Selby Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota, in compliance with the specifi—
cations attached hereto and that the cost of said service be charged
to Wrecking Building Fund No. 0976; the estimated cost of wrecking
is �2, 800.00.
