WHEREAS, The Civic Center Commission, under the authority
of Chapter 459, Laws of Minnesota for 1967, has recommended that the`'�
City Council authorize the preliminary and final plans for the
construction of a Civic Center Concourse; and
WEiEREAS, The Coun.cil of the City of Saint Paul, pursuant
to resolution, C. F. No. 234691, approved August 17, 1967, authorized
and directed the proper City officials to enter into and execute,
on behalf of the City of Saint Paul, an Architectural Service
Agreement between Convention Center Architects and Engineers , Inc. and
the City of Saint Paul, executed on the 25th day of August, 1967; and
WHEREAS, The City of Saint Paul, pursuant to resolution of
the Council, C. F. No. 237806, approved March 27, 1968, authorized the
p�oper City officials to egecute Agreement for Public Works Plan
Preparation, Contract No. H(402)-2g61, between the United States of
America, Department of Housin.g and Urban Development, and the City
of Saint Paul pertainin.g to an advance from said department of an
a.mount not to exceed Forty—One Thousand Four Hundred Dollars
(�41, 400.00) to aid the City in financing its costs for plan prepara—
tion for the construction of a Civic Center Concourse; now, therefore,

RESOLVED, That the proper City officials are hereby
authorized and directed to egecute Addendum G to the contract dated
August 25,_T�67, by and be'tween the Conventiori. Center Architects and .
Engineers, Inc: and the City of Saint Paul notifying said Con.vention
Center Architects and Engineers, Inc. to proceed with the preliminary
and final plan preparations for the construction of the Civic Center
• Concourse, Project No. P—Minn. 308g as provided in Comptroller' s
Agreement No. 1820, Article XVI, paragraph 5.
