WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Saint Paul, pursuant
to resolution, C. F. No. 233004, authorized and directed the proper
City officials to execute, on beha�f of the City, Agreement for
Public Works Plan Preparation, Contract No. FI(402}2916, between
the United States of America, Department o� Housing and Urban Develop—
ment, and the City of Saint Paul pertain.ing to an advance by said
department of an amount not to egceed One Hun.dred Eleven. Thousand
Six Hundred Fifteen Dollars (�111, 615. 00) to aid the City in
financing its costs for preliminary plan preparation for the
' construction of a New Arena for Civic Center with Parking Facilities
and Tunnel Con.n.ection to the Eagle Street Ra.mp; and
� WHEREAS, The scope of such project has been changed and the
t following description deleted:
"preliminary plan preparation for the construction
of a new arena for Civic Center with parking
facilities and tunnel connection to the Eagle
Street Ramp"
and in lieu thereof the following description inserted: T`�
� "preliminary plan preparation for the construction
of a new arena for Civic Center" ;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City officials are hereby author'ized�
and directed 'to execute, on beYal.f of the City of Saint Paul, Amend.ment �_
to Agreement for Public Works Plan Preparation, Contract No. H(402)-.2916,
between the United States of America, Department of Housing and Urban
Development, and the City of Saint Paul pertaining to the modification
of said Agreement by substituting the language as related above.
