WHEREAS, Park Edge Apartments has requested permission
to grade and surface the alley in Block 5 lying between Atlantic
Street and a line running parallel to Atlantic Street and lying
12 feet west of the west line of Lot 6 of said Block 5; and •
WHEREA�, ,The grading and surfacing of the alley as soon
as, possible is a matter of extreme egpediency and necessity to
said Park Edge Apartments; and
WHEREAS, An. ordinance, C. F. No. ��-���� granting
permission to said Park Edge Apartments to proceed with the
grading and surfacing of said� alley has been prepared and intro–
duced to the Council o� the City of Saint Paul on September 18 ,
1968, and has been read before the City Coun.cil, with eventual
adoption set to occur on October 3, , 1g68; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That in view of the egtreme urgency of the
request, the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized and
directed to issue a permit to Park Edge Apartments for the grading
and surfacing of said alley subject to the same condit '
requirements as set out in the ordinance, C. F. No. �� ��� ,
-�pending before the Council of the City of Saint Paul, informal
approval of said grading and surfaci�:g being hereby given in
anticipation of the final adoption o� said ordinance.
