Section 6 of these Rules shall be made at Step E of the appropriate Standard Range as set forth in Section I B of Ordinance No. 6446. After an appointee to such a position has appeared on the payroll for � 1040 hours in this position, he may be granted an increase in salary f of one salary step (to Step F}.
