In the matter.of condemning and taking a permanent easement 4 feet in width on, over and
across Lots 7 and 8, Block 1, Merit Addition for the purpose of constructing and maintain-
ing a public sewer, the center line of said 4-foot-wide easement being described as follows:
Commencing from a point on the Wlq line of said Lot 7, said point being 14.4' Sly of the
N.W. corner of said Lot 7; thence NElq to a point on the $ line of said Lot 8, 6.8' N
of the NE corner of said Lot 7, (G-1865)

The Commissioner of Finance having submitted his report in th,e above matter as to the amount �
of damages awarded for the taking of the land or easements therein appropriated for the above im-
provement and to whom payable; and also having submitted his assessment of benefits to pi•operty

P esolved;,That the said assessment of benefits be and the same is hereby approved. .
Resolved further, That a public hearing be had before the Council upon said report and for a con-
. firmation of the award of damages made by the Commissioner of Finance, and also upon the said as-
sessment of benefits; at the Council Chamber, in the Coui•t House in the City of St. Paul on the
twenty-third of October, 1968 , �t ten o'clock A.M. and that the Commis-
sioner of Fina,nce be and he is directed to jive notice of said hearing as prescribed by the Charter. �
