RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent be authorized to purchase from
Borchert Ingerso]lwithout competitive bids or advertisement under
Section 290 of the Charter of the City of Saint Pau1 one used Rex
Pactor wheel type dozer for use at the sanitary landfill at a cost
of �31,000.00 less trade in on one International track type dozer
of �15,000.00 for a net cost of �16,000.00. This includes a 30 day
waxranty on the redesigned ax�es and planetary drives on the Rex
Pactor dozer. This is equipment of a specialized type a.nd not generally
available used and available only from Borchert Ingersoll. Cost of -
, this equipment new would be in excess of �50,000.00 which due to
