of said stairway bu�r�rather that the intere.st of the public„requires
that the �stairway be removed rather than invest further considerable '
sums in renovation and constan�, main.t�enance of _said stairway; now,

to the City of Saint Paul in the State of Minnesota, do hereby
� � consent to the removal of the stairway between said lot and the
Edgerton Street Bridge., and the City of Saint Paul is hereby
authorizecl to enter upon such property for the purposes of
