WHEREAS, American Hoist' and Derrick Oompany has
requested permission to construct a building l�.own. as '
_ the " 1968 Waterous Addition" ' into and 20 feet Southeasterly
of the Northwesterly right—of—way line of Fairfield Avenue
from a point 85 feet Northeasterly to a point 245 feet
Northeasterly of the Northeasterly right—of—way line of
Starkey Street; and
WFIEREAS, The construction of the building is a
matter of extreme urgency �,nd necessity to said American
Hoist and Derrick Company; an.d '
WI�REAS�, An ordinance, C. F. No. � lo"O�
granting permission to said American Hoist and Derrick
Company to proceed with the construction of the said
building has been prepared and introduced to the Council ,
of the City of Saint Paul on AUG 2 8 1968 �
and has been read before said Coun.cil, with eventual adopt�on}�
set to occur on �EP_12 1968 ; now, therefore, be
it �
RESOLVED, T,hat in view of the extreme urgency of the
request, the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby author— �-
ized and directed to issue a permit to American Hoist and
Derrick Company" for the construction of said building,
subj ect to the same conditions �j1�yr��rements as set out
in the ordinance, C. F.. No. �}�) , pending
before the Council of the City of Saint� Paul, informal
approval of said construction being hereby given in
anticipation of the final adoption of said ordinance.
