RF50LVED� That the Council of the ' y of Saint Paul concurs in the action
taken by the Boa.rd of Water Commissioners by its Resolution No. 2122, dated
August 21, 1968, for an exchange of easements, and that the proper officers
of the City are hereby authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the
City, Quit Claim Deed for easement granted to Richard F. and Lucille A. Cartier,
� and also to accept an easement granted to the Board and the City by Richard F,
and Lucille k. Cartier.

WfIEREAS� The Board. of Water Co�nissioners has an earthen dyke located on the
' Northern and. Westarn shore of Peltier Lake in Seation 10, T 31 N, R 22 W, Anoka
County, and does not have land acceas to said dyke; and • ,�
Wfi�EAS� Said dyke does require maintenance sr�d needs to be inspected periodic-
ally; and
WF�EAS, Mr, Richard F. and Lucille A. Cartier do own land in the vicinity of said
dyke and are willing to exchange easements w3.th the Board so that land access to
said dyke can be provided; and ` � _
WfIEREAS, Mr. Clifford W; Hambl3.ri� the General Mana.ger� recommends that the exchange
of easements described below W3.11 mutually benefit both parties;
l: Board grants a perpetual easement for right of ingress and egress on
or across a strip of land 33 feet in width as followas
