, WHEREAS, In the matter of Comptroller's Contract L-6970, 1967 EXTRA
' ORDINARY MAINTENANCE CONTRACT work on T.H. ��5, 12, 51, 56 and 212, Armor-
Coat Company, Inc. , Contractor, the specified date of completion is
'June 15, 1968, and
� � WHEREAS, The Contractor has prosecuted the work diligently but due to
'a change in the method of repairing cracks in the pavement on Snelling
�Avenue and the dffficulties of working in traffic, it was not possible to
complete the work�by said date of completion, therefore be it,
RESOLVED, That the proper City Officials be and they are hereby ,
authorized and directed to execute an amendment to said contract extend-
ing the time of completion to August 31, 1968, provided however, that
. this resolution shall have no force or effect unless the sureties on the
�Contractor's bond consent thereto and file such consent in writing with
the City �omptroller, and be it,
� FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of Sa�f�nt Paul hereby waives all
claim for liquidated damages and that no engineering and inspaction costs
on this project will be charged to the Contractor for such egtended period.
