WHSRBAS, In the matter of Comptrol�ler's Contract L-7013 for the '
construction of a Public Sewer in WILSON AVENUS from 198 feet East of
Johnson E�arkway to 80 fe�t West of Engliah Street, Laugen-Miller
Construction Compa�ny, Contractor, the specified dete of coffipletion is
June 1, 1968, and
WHSREAS, The Contractor has prosecuted the work diligently but due
to the delay in processing the contract documents and adverse weather it
was not possible to complete the contract by said date of co�pletion,
therefore be it,
R�SOLVED, That the proper City OfficiaTs be and they a re hereby
authorized and directed to execute an amendment to said contract extend-
ing the tim� of completion �to July 26, 1968 provided however, that this
; resolution she�ll have no force or effect unless the sureties on the
' Contractor�s bond consent thereto and file such consant in writing with
the City Comptroller, and be it, �
FURTHSR RBSOLVED, That the City of Saint Faul hereby waines all
claim for liquidated daaages end thnt no engineering and inspection
costs on this project will be charged to the Contractor for such estended
period.
