E�2(G) between the City of Saint Paul and the United States of America, pertaining to a certain Code Enforcement Program desigriated Code Enforcemen.t Program No. Minn. E-2. _ WHEREAS, un.der Section 117 of the Housing Act of 1949, as amended, the United States of America (herein called the "Govern— ment" ) has tendered to the City of Saint Paul (herein called the "Grantee" ) a proposed Code Enforcement Contract, pursuan.t to which the Government would egtend certain Federal financial assistance to the Grantee in connection with the Code Enforcement Program described herein; and WHEREAS, the Grantee has given due consideration to said , proposed Contract; and � WHEREAS, the Grantee is duly authorized, under and pursuant to the Constitution and Laws of the State of Minnesota; to under— take and carry out said Code Enforcement Progr.am .a�.d to execute such proposed Contract: , � � �,. NOW� THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF� SAINT PAUL as follows : Section l. The proposed C�ntr-a,ct, designated "Code En-- " forcement Grant Contract No. Minn. E-2(G) , providing for the making by the Government to the, Grantee of a Code Enforcement Grant under Section'll7 of the Fiousing Act of 194g, as amended, in connection witli the Code, Enforcement Program described therein and designated as Code Enforcement Program No. Min.n. E-2, is hereby in all respects approved. ;x Section 2. Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to file requisi- tions, together with necessary supporting documents, with the Government, in accordance with the Code Enforcement Grant Contract, requesting payments to be made on account of the Code En.forcement Grant ;provided in the Code Enforcement Gr•ant Contract, and to do and perform all other things and acts required to be done or per- formed in order to obtain such paymen.ts.
