• RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for the Grading, Bituminous Curbs and Bitutninous
Surfacing, Installation of the Catch Basin and do all other work shown for Park
Street from Cottage- Avenue to, Arlington Avenue to T. A. SCHIFSKY & SONS, INC.
for the contract price of $8,663.00 (plus Engineering and Inspection 15% - $1,126.19;
Water Dept. Charges-Water Connection - $3,423.00; and Collection Charges - $163.80)
such bid being the lowest and said T. A. Schifskq & Sons, Inc. being a reasonable
and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draft
the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are
authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
