COMMISSIONE
WHEREAS , Craig Frye , an employee of the Department of Public
Safety, Bureau of Police , was injured in a third party accident
on May 14, 1968 , while engaged in the performance of his duties ;
and ' '
WHEREAS , said employee was disabled from work for a period
of time being paid ,salary in the amount of $153 .00 and the City
has incurred medical expense in the amount of $15 .00 therefor;
and
WHEREAS , a settlement has been negotiated between said
employee and the other party involved in the accident, out of
which the City will receive the full amount of its subrogation
interest by reason of injury to its employee ; .. now, therefore ,
be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City Officers are hereby
� authorized to accept the sum of $168.00 in full, final and
complete settlement of its claim herein and to execute any
necessary releases therefor; and to endorse check of Farmers
_ _ Insurance Group in the amount of $750 .00 out of which the •-- "
- City will receive $168.00 ; that of said sum $153 .00 is thereby
credited to the Police Salary Fund and $15 .00, to the Workmen's
Compensation Fund and a check for the remainder to be issued to
Craig Frye.
