hereby authorized and directed, on behalf of said City, to execute ;

hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

PERSONAL SERVICE AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEriENT, made this 30th day of Jurie, 1968, by and
between the City of Saint Paul , a municipal corporation of the
State of Minnesota, hereinafter referred to as the "City" , and

R. Scott Davies, hereinafter referred to as the "Consultant" . •-
- WITNESSETH:
' � WHEREAS, The City is the recipient of a gift from the
Judicial Council of Minnesota in the sum of One Thousand Tzao
Hun.dred Fifty Dollars (�1 , 250. 00) out of Ford Grant Funds of said
Council, which sum of One Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars
(�1, 250. 00) is to be used to cover the cost of payment of services
of a student� con.sultant to be employed by the City in the Office of
the Corporation Counsel of said City, subject to th�e supe.rvision
and direction of the said Corporation Counsel ; �
NOW, THEREFORE, Said City and Consul�Gant , for the
� considerations hereinafter set forth, ag�ree as follows :
1. The Consultant shall •be employed by the City as an
- - = independent contractor� and not ari employee �of said City for the �
purpose of furnishing legal , clerical , � investigative and research
services in the Office of the Corporation Counsel. of said City

, and subject to supervision and direction of said Corporation
Counsel and to the satisfaction of the. Corporation Counsel.
� � 2. Said Consultant shall be employed for a period of
�en (10) weeks commencing July 1, 1g68, and terminating September
6, 1968. . .
3. TYie parties agree that for his servzces Consultant
shall be paid, at or after the conclusion of ea�h two-week period
_ the sum of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars (�250. 00) for such tz,�o-week
