RESOLVED, That the Council concuxs in the award of the Purchasing Committee �
therefor a.nd hereby awaxds contract for flzrnishing. and delivering to the
Water Department Purification Plant, 1900 Rice Street, Soo Line Siding,
Saint Paul, Minnesota, during period of one yeax beginning from and after

date of City Comptroller's countersignature of contract, approximately
75 Tons powdered activated Caxbon (Aqua Nuchar A) , to LYON CI�MICAIS,
INC. in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached -
a.nd the Formal Bid #292�+ of said Lyon Chemicals, Inc. , for the contract
price of approximately $151.00 net ton, ma.king amount of contract approximately
$11,325.00, such bid being the only bid received, a.nd said Zyon Chemicals,
Inc. being a,reasonable a.nd reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be �
and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and
the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on
behalf of the City of Saint Paul. '
