� WHEREAS, In connection with the Maryland Ave. - Brainerd Ave. Relief
System project it will be necessary to detour_ traffic from Maryland Ave. to
� Arlington Ave. between Jackson St. and Edgerton St. necessitating the in-
�stallation of temporary.traffic signals at the intersections of Arlington
Ave. and Jackson 'St. and Arlington Ave. and Edgerton St.; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That th� plans and specifications for the necessary temporary
traffic signals at Arlington Ave. and Jackson St. and at Arlington Ave. and
Edgerton St. as submitted by the Commissioner of Public Works are hereby
approved, and the Purchasing Agent is authorized to advertise for bids thereon
in the manner provided in and by the Charter. The basis for award of con- ,
tract shall be a lump sum bid for the installation and removal of these tem-
porary traffic signals, and therefore, be it further
RESOLVED, That the cost of the above traffic signal projects be fin-
anced frorn PI,R Fund Code 6000, the same fund to, be reimbursed from Capital '
Improvement Bond Fund�,Code 9267. , --
