WHEREAS , George J. I�urley, a former employee of the Department
of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings , was injured during the
course and scope of h�is duties on April 14, 1953 ; and
WHEREAS , pursuant to the terms of Council File 168509 , adopted
May 19 , 1954, payments in the amount of $400 .00 per month were
� authorized payable to his guardian, Mrs. Madeline A. Hurley , f or
� nursing services to be performed at his home due to George J.
Hurley's permanent total disability; and
- WHEREAS , certain information has been forwarded to the Office
of the Corporation Counsel which indicates that George J. Hurley
� is no longer living at home, but is a patient in the Veteran's
Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota, whereby nursing services previously
authorized are no longer presently needed; and
WHEREAS , Mrs. Madeline A. Hurley, the guardian of George J.
' Hurley, is now deceased; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that monthly payments since April,l968 , to Mrs.
Madeline A. Hurley , deceased, be discontinued and terminated_ as _
- the need f or nursing care at home is not presently required.
