T ORIZ TION OF OCA IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
PRESENTED BY HON. pATF �9-
_ • RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the award of the Contract
Committee therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, tools,
materials, supplies and equipment necessary for improving MINNEHAHA AVENUE
from Hamline Avenue to Snelling Avenue by grading, paving and curbing; by
constructing a bituminous overlay; by constructing and�reconstructing side-
walks; by constructing storm water drainage facilities; by constructing sewer,
water and gas service connections; by constructing a traffic control system;
and doing all other wozk which is necessary and incidental to complete said
impgovement, Saint Paul, Minnesota to PEDERSON BROS. CEMENT CONTRACTORS; INC. '
for the contract price of $66,445.01 (at unit prices bid) (Plus Water Dept.
Charges - $500.00, Engineering - $8,637.85, Inspection - $1,328.90 and
Finance - $567.00) in accordance with plans and specifications and Formal Bid
��2920 of said Pederson Bros. Cement Contractors, such bid being the lowest
and said Pederson Bros. Cement Contractors being a reasonable and reliable
bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draft the
proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are
authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
