WHEREAS, The Coun.cil of the City of Saint Paul, by
resolution, C. F. No. 229573, approved July 22, 1966, did
authorize the execution and filin.g of an appli�cation with the
Department of Housing and Urban Development, Un.ited States
' Government, for a grant in aid pertaining to construction of
additions to the City' s water treatment plant and pumping
station, and said resolution authorized and directed Bernard T.
Holland, President, Board of Water Commissioners to furnish
in�ormation to said Department of Housin.g and Urban Development;
and
WHEREAS, Effective June 4, 1968, Robert F. Sprafka
became President of the Board of Water Commissioners replacing
Bernard T. Holland; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That resolution, C. F. No. 229573, approved
July 22, 1966, be and the same is hereby modified so as to read
as follows: '�'";

"2. That Robert F. Sprafka, President,
Board of Water Commissioners , be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to furnish such
, information as the Department of Housing and
Urban Development may reasonably request in .
connection with the application which is herein
authorized to file. " ;

to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be mailed to the
Department of Housing and Urban Development, to be made part o�
