1. The basic hourly wage rate for temporary and employees appointed to the following classification shall
be:

The State of Minnesota has changed the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA) contribution rates
for employers and employees. The current rate for applicable employees is 5.53%. This rate is subject to
further increase or decrease by the State of Minnesota.

APPENDIX G
Unless specifically noted, the contribution levels represent pre-taY amounts. Effective June i, 2004 for
employees working in the title of Fire Sprinkler Inspector, the Employer shall:

contribute to a Health and Welfare FY�nd $5.55 per hour for all hours worked.
contribute to the National Pension Fund $2.55 per hour for all hours worked.
contribute to the Supplemental Pension Fund $5.30 per hour for all hours worked.

deduct and forward to the Vacation �nd $.50 per hour for all hours worked.
contribute to the Building Fund $.10 per hour for all hours worked.
contribute to the International Training Fund $.OS per hour for all hours worked.
All contributions and deductions made in accardance with this Appendix G shall be forwarded to the parties
designated by the Union.
The Employer shall establish Worker's Compensation and Unemployment Compensation programs as required
by Minnesota Statutes.
The Employer's fringe benefit obligation is limited to the contributions and/ar deductions established by this
Agreement. The actual level of benefits provided to employees shall be the responsibility of the Trustees of the
various funds to which the Employer has forwarded the contributions and/or deductions.

The amount of the total inccease for 2004 was determined in the 2002-2005 Maintenance Labor Agreement. However, the dishibution of
the increase between wages and fringe benefits is deternvned each yeaz by the bazgaining unit.
