WI�REAS, the Assistant Fire Chief, Levi Shortridge, due to
illness of the Fire Chief, Stephen Conroy, will be acting Fire
Chief from June 8, 1968, through July 13, 1968; now, therefore,
be it " �
RESOLVED, That the appointment by the Commissioner of Public
Safety of R. Emmett Curran as acting Assistant Chief of the Bureau
of Fire Protection during said absence of the Fire Chief effective
June 8, 1968, up to and including July 13, 1968, at the same salary
as that of the Assistant Fire Chief, is hereby concurred in and
approved.
