Duties and responsibilities:
Under direction, to act as coordinator of the work of various
agenciea engaged in community improvement and code
Enforcement programs of the City of St, Paul; and to perform
related work as assigned.
Examples of v��ork performeds
To coordinate a code compliance and capital improvement program
in a designated code enforcement area,
To participate in planning activities related to each code enforce-
men� prQject.
To maint-ain records and progress reports for each code enforce-
rrient- program.
To expl.ain the scope and purpoae of the city's programs to
community organizations, individuals, and at mass public
meei:ings.
To assist neighborhood groups in defining objective and
identifying aims and the scope of their organization.
To maiiitain a liaison with i:he local I'HA offic� 'co obtain the
latest information relating to the various finance sections
and minimum property standards and requixements.
To ad�vise groups and individuals on methods of obtaining financial
assistanc� and technical advice on home improvements.
To encourage active public participation so the groups organized
will become on-going groups after code enforcement activity
has ceased.
Minimum qualifications:
College graduation and six yearso pfofessional experience in work
involvin� public contact, at least three years of which must ha.ve
been in interdepartmental or community organizational work,
